Al-Wasat newspaper is a national journalistic project; it took neutrality and objectivity as a slogan, devoted itself to the public interest, worked close to the people, and gave priority to expressing their issues, interests, and daily concerns,.
On the fifteenth anniversary of its founding, we present a paper entitled “Al-Wasat Newspaper: The Political Role and the Call for Dialogue and National Reconciliation”. We shed light on the newspapers role in calling for national dialogue since the beginning of the popular movement in 2011 to its final closure in 2017.
